EF#19: Endometriosis, Food-Grown Supplements and the Immune System

Lorna Driver-Davies

An amazing episode with Lorna Driver-Davies, Head of Nutrition from Wild Nutrition. This is the last interview of the season and boy is it good! We covered so much from nutrition, supplements and then a deep dive into the immune system for women with Endometriosis, and how this affects fertility.

I came across Wild Nutrition about 3 years ago for my personal use and absolutely love so many of their products. I then met Lorna through my clinical work as I recommend many of Wild Nutrition products, in particular their Food-Grown Endo-Complex and Food-Grown Fertility. I found Lorna to be an amazing wealth of information on how to use their supplements to get their best effect and I just knew I had to have her on the podcast to pass on some of her nuggets!

Lorna and Wild Nutrition

Wild Nutrition is a supplement company dedicated to providing only natural supplements in the most ethical way, with a special focus on women’s health at all life stages including fertility – but particularly for Endometriosis – as they are the only company to provide a specific formulation for Endometriosis called ‘Food-Grown Endo Complex’. Their co-founder is Endometriosis expert, nutritional therapist and author, Henrietta Norton, and as mentioned above, Lorna is their Head of Nutrition, having trained as a Nutritional Therapist and Naturopath.

Lorna has worked for over a decade as a registered clinical nutritional therapist and naturopath, specialising in Endometriosis and related hormone and gynaecological conditions.  This has deep clinical experience that has enabled her to develop her expertise and highly specific nutrition protocols for Endometriosis. She lectures on the nutrition module on the annual training course ‘Caring for Endometriosis Patients’ for Endometriosis Clinical Nurse Specialists at Royal Surrey County Hospital, is the Nutrition speaker for The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) annual meeting (where specialist Endometriosis surgeons come together to discuss treatment) and her published work includes an evidence-based peer reviewed case analysis chapter on nutrition for Endometriosis, thyroid and hormone health.
