Progesterone! Do you have enough of it to get pregnant? It is such an important hormone for your fertility and yet so many of us, particularly because of Endometriosis and things like PCOS, have low progesterone. This week I shed some light on progesterone so that you can understand more about it and importantly what you can do to help improve your progesterone levels and not just resort to a plaster of taking synthetic hormones.
I cover a lot, much more than I original planned:
- What progesterone is and why it is important
- What a normal healthy cycle is and how progesterone plays a role
- The role of the corpus luteum
- Symptoms of low progesterone
- Why women with Endometriosis and PCOS have low progesterone
- Progesterone receptors and resistance
- Root causes of low progesterone
- How to increase your progesterone through changes to nutrition, lifestyle and herbs and supplement recommendations
It is jam-packed with recommendations for you to look into further, some of it you may know and some you may not! Enjoy listening as always!
